Get the Best TV Provider in Your Area

Don't waste your money by getting tied up with a TV provider that  gives you channels you don't necessarily need. Here's a great site that lets you search the tv provider that is right for you, with packages that you realy need thus saving you money in the process. At myTVOptions.com, I tried searching for the best tv provider I should get in my area just by typing my area code and selecting the channels that I find important.  And  based on my preferences, the site recommended Direct TV

Satellite Directv is the best choice because it offers 130 HD channels; 38 premium movie channels; exclusive sport packages; free professional installation; free DVD HD receiver upgrade; and free HBO, showtime and STARZ for 3 months. Direct Satellite TV  offers the best deals on television where you can save up to $559 with free choice xtra package.

DirectTV accommodates the whole family depending on what interest them.  The sports enthusiasts will get many sports channel; the movie lovers  will get the best selections of movies; and foreigners get international programming in tons of different languages.  If you want to know what works for you in your location, visit myTVOptions.com or call Direct TV at 800-3789318,

Busy Day

We had a pretty busy day today as my gf and her son came over for a shopping date.  We went to Ikea and Costco and our two boys enjoyed every minute of it.  They imitated each other's screams and actions; giggled and goofed around.  We were unusually quick at Ikea where we just got what we really needed and not browsed around anymore.  I bought canisters for my cereals and my son's snacks; an extra big pot; and organizers.  Ordinarily I would spend at least an hour at Ikea by myself, but with my son with me I had to be quick to shop then run.  After shopping, we headed home and the little ones played  a little bit of bubbles in the yard.  My son was really tired fighting his sleepiness but it was too early for bedtime so I engaged him in some playtime before dinner.  After dinner I gave him a quick shower, then gave his milk  then tucked him in bed at 6:30.  I wish I could call it a night too, but I have online  work I have to finish yet.

Myrtle Beach Escapade with Family and Friends

Few summers ago, my hb and I visited  my best friend and  hb's relatives in North Carolina. Our itinerary included visits to a lot of exciting places but only made a side trip to Myrtle Beach Resorts before going home. It was a last minute decision and we only had a day to spare before flying back home. The place was so beautiful and I regretted not alotting more time at the beach as we enjoyed our stay tremendously. So hb and I planned to come back there again one of these summers. It's a great timing that my friend was inviting us again for another visit, only this time we will not stay in their house but at a Myrtle Beach Resort.

There are so many Myrtle Beach Hotels you can choose from when you go to Myrtle Beach, but my friend recommended the newest oceanfront condominium resorts where they stayed at on their last escapade to Myrtle Beach.  I immediately checked the site out and found that Avista Resort has great amenities for the whole family to enjoy.   The view of the tranquil shore from the window is  a great escape from  one's exhausting daily routine.  There are so many activities that you will find hard to have enough time to at the beach resorts.

And there is one perfect vacation package for anybody depending on their interests. Since my friend and I both have very young kids,  we are interested in Avista Resort's children's program to keep our kids occupied.  Of course there are some attractions that the whole family will enjoy like wine tasting for our husbands; aquarium  experience for our kids; and  sampling of gourmet foods for me and my friend, just to name a few.  I'm excited to see my friend and her family again, but I'm more excited that we will spend some time again in the wonderful Myrtle Beach Resorts.

Great Website for Unique Gift Ideas

In a little over a month my 3-year old son and I will fly to the Philippines for a two-month vacation. Our actual flight duration is 19 hours while lay-overs total 6 hours. I dread thinking about how I can entertain him and keep him engaged all through out the flights without getting bored and cranky. I read in some magazine about taking new toys that he hasn't played nor seen before. I will definitely do that, and I will wrap them like gifts too so there will be an added excitement factor to it. Most of his toys are battery operated that make sound, so of course I can't take them with him. Otherwise they wil just annoy other passengers on board.

I also need to dress him very comfortably, probably in his PJ while on board. I will also take that Buddie and Blankie from the Barefoot Dreams collection that I saw at Lou Lou's Corner website. This chic puppy buddie is a great companion when he sleeps and it is attached to a blankie too for great snuggling comfort. This blankie is made from bamboo fibers that makes it really soft and eco-friendly. Buddie and Blankie creation would make a great travel companion for little kids.

We will arrive in the Philippines just in time for my niece's 4th birthday. Browsing through LouLousCorner.com gave me a lot of gift ideas for her too. I'm sure she will love the adorable jellycat bashful monkey. It is made from a very soft plush material that is great for snuggling at bedtime. Who wouldn't love this monkey with smiling face, curled tail, and round tummy? My little tot loves monkey, his favorite is Curious George! Also one of my good friends just had a grand daughter that I haven't seen yet, so I guess I'll give her something when I pay them a visit. I'm thinking of getting some adorable designer baby clothes that are very comfortable or one of those jellycat educational soft books. Lou Lou's Corner is a great website find for online shoppers like me,  It is a specialty boutique store that has a lot of unique items for all seasons for everybody in the family even the pet dog.  Their distinctive toys are very safe; educational and eco-friendly too.  I always look for ways to save on shipping costs for anything I order online, and another great thing about Lou Lou's Corner is it offers a flat shipping rate of $4.95 or free shipping for orders over $65.

My Garden is Taking Shape

Finally I was able to work in the yard yesterday.  The weather was nice and warm but very humid, but nevertheless very good for gardening.  I bought flower plants like Marigold, Impatience, Salvia and Begonia like 2 weeks ago but just couldn't get the chance to plant them due to rain.  I started cleaning up the beds again and cultivating the soil with my little tot.  I gave him his bucket, rake and scoop from the sand box.  But oftentimes he would ask to trade with my trowel and fork.

He built castles with dirt and pulled some weeds too.  He especially enjoyed digging, in fact he dug holes for me then I would put the plants in. But the thing is he would dig them out again.   It was fun till I realized I was not progressing much.  So I asked hb to take little tot with him when he goes out to run errand.   Hb agreed so I gave little tot a quick shower and fed his lunch.  They were out for quite a while so I accomplished a lot, super!  I was able to plant everything but I ran out of mulch and I still have some area to clean up.   Yesterday the deck rail hooks I ordered online also came in, so my bird feeders and hanging plants will be all set too.

I planned to buy some more mulch and possibly few more plants today, but was sidetracked by junk mails, catalogs and subscription magazines laying on the island.  They must have been there for three weeks now so they piled up.  So I had to sort, shred and file for a good one hour, with of course little tot seated beside me.  I gave him some papers to cut out with scissors.  Afterwards he requested to play in the sandbox, so I took him out to the deck for few minuets.  And now hb is in the middle of a telephone conference so I have to wait till he's done before I can go out. I was planning to shop quick and leave, so I wanted to leave by myself.  Wish me luck on this one.

A Family Friendly Summer Destination

If you are planning to spend summer in the beach, Myrtle Beach Resort is a perfect destination.  We were there few years ago and we certainly enjoyed our stay although it was only brief.   We love to come back again soon, especially now that we have a little boy who loves the water and sand too.  I am looking for a place to stay with a nice view and family-friendly setting and  I found just the perfect place called Towers on the Grove.

Towers on the Grove is a
new favorite beach destination that not only have the friendly atmosphere but also the beautiful ocean views; great Grand Stand location; affordable rates;  and lavish amenities.  The Towers on the Grove is a brand new condominium on the Oceanfront Myrtle Beach Resort.  It offers comfort and luxury with  1, 2 and 3 bedroom units all with private balconies and high-end furnishing. This is definitely a perfect place for families with children; and even just for couples and friends getting together.  It's a great timing too that Towers on the Grove offers  fabulous specials and packages to celebrate its grand opening.  So there will be a  limited number of rooms being offered with special rates, this means great savings.  I'm looking forward to this Myrtle Beach Resorts get-away, I can imagine how our little boy will enjoy the huge 'sand box' as he's addicted to playing in his sand box.
